Lenovo Unveils Android and Windows powered Yoga Tablet 2 Pro and Yoga Tablet 2

Chinese PC maker and world's largest manufacturer of personal computers, Lenovo Group, yesterday showed off two new tablets running on Google's Android and Microsoft's Windows operating systems, the Yoga Tablet 2 Pro and Yoga Tablet 2. The other one, the Yoga Tablet 2 Pro comes with an internal projector, which Lenovo calls the ''pico-projector'', that can beam an image up to 50 inches on a surface.


The Tablet 2 Pro is an Android tablet that has a 13-inch QHD diplay and is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom Z3745 proccessor with a 2GB RAM. It offers an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 1.6 megapixel front facing camera and has a 32GB internal storage expanded to 64GB with a microSD card. It supports WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and 4G LTE.



Lenovo revealed that the Yoga Tablet 2 Pro will be available later this month, and will cost $499.

As for the Yoga Tablet 2, it comes in two models of four. That is, an 8-inch and 10-inch models running on Android as well as an 8-inch and 10-inch models running Windows 8. Don't get confuse here. Both models pack the same specs except for their price and operating systems.



The ones running Android will sell for $250 and $300 while the ones running Windows will be priced higher at $300 and $400 respectively. The Windows tablets will hit stores in November.
